「イロコ」は燃えない木という意味を持ち、チークにも似ている耐久性の強い木。
そして「カツラ」は甘く香る円い葉が特徴の「生きた化石」と言われるほど起源が古い樹木。

Here we have Iroko and Katsura.
Iroko means “fireproof wood” and is a highly durable timber similar to teak.
Katsura is an ancient tree, often called a “living fossil,” characterized by its sweet-smelling, round leaves.
The beautiful grain of both woods beautifully accentuates the elegant curves of the kirikane inlay.
